04 April 2003: The site is about to undergo a major overhaul in the next few weeks as it's a bit hit and miss at the moment. In the mean while why not take the time to sign up to the Mailing List (see left). It's free and fairly easy to join. This means you will be able to find out when the site has been updated and keep up to date with forth coming gig's etc. A quick plug for the Easter Sunday gig in Cheer's, Dumbarton. 20th April. 09 January 2003: Yes, Yes I am back again. I admit I have been neglecting the site of late but you know how things go.... I wont go into it here but if you want a fuller explanation then feel free to email me for a complete report of the band's activities over the past few months.
Ok so on with the NEWS!! We have been plugging away over the winter months, working on material etc and it's time to emerge once again into the cold light of spring and gig a bit, just a little bit.
So... With that in mind I would like to announce that we have pencilled in a date for Strawberry Fields on Saturday the 22nd of February. Check out the Giglist for details. We will probably be running a bus from the local area so get in touch with Holly (me) if you want to come and show your undying love and support!!!!!... and if you dont want to then why not??

I recieved an e-mail from my server telling me that I was over my storage limit, so therefore a couple of changes have been made:
The 'work in progress' page has been relegated to my HD for the mean time,
'Bootyfool Thang' has been removed as it is not really a Contraband song, just me fooling around with some software and
The fractal gallery has been discontinued due to lack of interest.
Also I have tidied up a few loose ends on a couple of pages.
I am on the loook out for links to add to my page that are a bit more relevant than the collection I have at present... Stay tuned for more details and if you want to link to this site then e-mail me and I will be happy to oblige.
6 April 2002: It was brought to my attention that there was something wrong with my e-mail page. I was not receiving e-mail's from the link on this page. I had entered an old e-mail address in th 'mailto' link .... Ho humm, well we live and learn. Cheers to Disco Dave for helping me find the mistake.
The gig forum is up and running. All posts will be vetted, if I don't like what I see then it's curtains for your entry... You have been warned!
25 March 2002: The guestbook should now be up and running, i found another server, hopefully more reliable than the last. I'm still messing around with the gig forum so it might be fixed by the next time you come back... who knows???
I've been a bit lazy recently, more so than usual that is and haven't really been keeping on top of the whole web-site thing. This was partly due to a couple of things going wrong at the same time, isn't it always the case? Anyway, I found the strength from somewhere to carry on and will continue updating the site regularly.
Also look out for a complete overhaul if I manage to iron out the problems i'm having with the new layout... Feel free to check out the the work in progress and let me know what you think.
10 March 2002: There may be a bit of trouble with the guest book and gig list... This is not my fault, blame BravePages. Well, to be precise, blame the person(s) who hacked the server and brought it to it's knees. I am scouring the web for someone else to provide these services, so I will update them when possible.
As time turns the seasons, soon comes the spring, all the links are now working... so surf right on in.
This site is still far from complete, most of that is down to me but I'm relying on all you Contraphiles out there to help out (both of you!). So please take the time to check out the giglist and if you don't see mention of the gig you want to comment on or find out about then why not enter the details yourself and get the ball rolling. You might even refresh my memory and I will include what information I can, which might not be too much... I tend to get a little mashed by the end of the night!
If anybody has any photographs of Contraband they would like to include on the site then please E-Mail me with them and I will post them in the gallery. I can't get access to the pictures we have at the moment as they're on another machine so you would be helping out greatly.
I'm probably going to re-build the site with frames as it give me more flexibility for navigation purposes and so on. Don't hold your breath though. Meanwhile there will still be regular updates. I fully intend to keep this site as live as possible. Once it's settled probably about once or twice a week depending on demand or need.
